Since a very young age music has always evoked strong feelings and emotions in her. It is the essence and thread in life that she will always be close to and will always follow. She began singing at 6 years old and since then has spent time singing, playing the piano, dancing and being in many bands.

More recently she picked up a guitar and began writing her own songs. Among her inspirations she counts traditional eastern folk music, Moby and Beth Gibbons from Portishead, who blew her away with her unique musical expression. She also takes inspiration from the deep beauty and power of singing mass in church.

Music of Barbora Sára has a purely organic sound, based on her elastic, materializing and completely commanding voice accompanied by looper, classical piano or guitar.

She is one of the self-taught composers, as she accepts music purely instinctively and non-intellectually and therefore does not allow herself to be boxed in by musical genres and styles. In her tender & powerful compositions is dominated her absolutely most reliable instrument, her voice, with which she materializes her thoughts with intuitive sensitivity supported by expressive and honest texts that create a dense atmosphere for reflection.
